The Project Manager will manage one or more construction projects simultaneously, using acquired knowledge and industry experience to complete all project requirements on time, within budget, and to a level of quality that exceeds the expectations of the client and Company management.  The PM will work as part of a team and may have supervisory responsibilities.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Managing different project delivery methods
  • Planning and scheduling projects
  • Preparing and processing subcontracts and purchase orders
  • Scheduling, attending and recording project meetings
  • Preparing change orders
  • Managing subcontractors and material suppliers
  • Working closely with project superintendents/forepersons
  • Reviewing daily reports
  • Cost coding
  • Reviewing job cost forecasting reports
  • Approving subcontractor requisitions and reviewing owner invoices
  • Preparing/overseeing project close-out 
  • Attaining substantial and final completion on time and within budget


Required Skills & Experience:


  • Minimum 4+ years of project management experience in a construction firm
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Construction Management, or equivalent work experience
  • Working knowledge of contractual documents, plans, specifications and construction methods
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency with MS Office and MS Project
  • Experience using project management software, e.g. Procore
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems, make project decisions
  • Professional demeanor
  • Must successfully pass a post-offer physical exam, drug screen and background check
